PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Construction of Landslips Package 2, known as Site 20, was initiated in response to a significant weather event that struck Brisbane in February 2022, resulting in widespread landslips across the region. This project targeted the remediation of 14 sites spanning approximately 7 kilometers along Mt Nebo Road in Brisbane.
Employing a range of remediation and bank stabilisation techniques, predominantly utilising shotcrete and rock stabilisation methods, the project aimed to mitigate the impact of the landslips. Each of the project sites presented distinct sizes and complexities, presenting a diverse array of challenges and risks that demanded innovative solutions and meticulous planning.
JC CIVIL PROJECTS ROLE
JC Civil Projects was engaged by HEH Civil to manage all requirements for their submission to Council. This encompassed the preparation of tender schedule response criteria as well as the creation of comprehensive supporting documentation to bolster their bid.
Through strategic planning and meticulous attention to detail, JC Civil Projects played a pivotal role in equipping HEH Civil with a compelling and solution driven submission.
KEY DELIVERABLES
JC Civil Projects collaborated closely with HEH Civil’s key bid stakeholders and subject matter experts to lead the delivery of vital bid components, including:

Drafting comprehensive responses to non-price schedules, addressing crucial evaluation criteria such as company capacity, key personnel, and past experience

Preparation of all supporting documentation, encompassing the cover letter and submission artwork

Development of technical criteria, including the cost estimate, detailed project program, and construction methodology

Coordination, review, and finalisation of all documentation to ensure readiness for submission.
