PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The multi-award-winning Bruce Highway upgrade - CR2SM project has exemplified best practice for Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) in various areas. It has demonstrated innovation excellence by pioneering Australia’s first Diverging Diamond Interchange, setting a new standard in transportation infrastructure. Additionally, the project showcases a commitment to environmental sustainability through innovative engineering and collaborative efforts to repurpose sitewon materials, reducing environmental impact while ensuring project efficiency. Meticulous attention to traffic management has been paramount for the project, enhancing safety and minimising disruptions for travelers throughout the construction process.

Situated in the inclement-weather-prone Sunshine Coast region, across two floodplains, this project has also redefined best-practice erosion and sediment control design and implementation. Successfully navigating through five wet seasons, it has effectively managed construction activities, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in the face of challenging environmental conditions.

JC CIVIL PROJECTS ROLE
